Supporting Trans Communities

When The Teaching Transgender Toolkit was published in 2015, the co-authors (Dr. Eli Green & Luca Maurer), and their publisher (Planned Parenthood in Ithaca, NY) set aside 10% of the proceeds of the book with a commitment to redistribute that money to trans community. Due to the cumulative success of the Toolkit, in 2023 we were able to award microgrants to 6 different trans-led projects. In 2024, Dr. Green & Kelsey Van Nice co-founded The Uplifting Trans Fund to carry forward the microgrant mission.  Learn more at www.UpliftingTransFund.org The Toolkit is now distributed by Dr. Green's company, Trans Affirming Training & Consulting (www.transaffirming.co) and we continue to donate 10% of the proceeds of the Toolkit to the Uplifting Trans Fund.
